A vlog shoot came back with shaky coverage, broken audio, and no b-roll. Publishing was non-negotiable.
The ask
Make a publishable, on-brand video from what exists.
The key decision
Stop pretending it was a vlog. I re-cut it as a narrated story, used motion graphics to bridge the missing coverage, and let the honest rough moments play as personality instead of hiding them.
The outcome
Published on schedule, and you can’t tell where the broken footage was.
